Jonathan walked into the sword arena, figuring he might as well get some practice in if he was going to be stuck here. He sat his phone off to the side where it would be safe and drew his comb from his pocket. He ran it through his hair a couple of times, knowing it would be a mess and he had appearances to keep after all. He smiled as he remember the first few times he had tried this and almost ended up with a few bald spots in the process. He wished he had remembered to pack some his sporting wear when he had run out. He pulled off his button up shirt but knew he would still have troubles in the suit pants he was wearing. He sighed as he picked up the comb again and pressed the spot on the side. He needed to do something with his time and this was the best option to keep his mind busy. He turned to a dummy and began moving through some steps careful not to rip his pants in the process.

Eliot walked into the sword fighting arena freezing at the site of Jonathan fighting, it seemed that he had forgotten everything that Eliot had taught him about fighting. He shook his head, turning away tempted to forget all about doing some practice just to be as far away from Jonathan that he could be. His heart wrenched at the though, he was still madly in love with Jonathan but apparently it wasn't enough, because something had brought his, no not his anymore, the real Jonathan back. He pulled his emotionless mask over his face and headed for the dummy that was furthest away from Jon and started to attack the dummy.

Jon saw movement from the corner of his eye and froze in his movements when he realized who it was. He felt his heart flutter at seeing him again, then break when he remember what had happened about a year ago. He had lost Eliot and he couldn't blame the other man for walking out on him. Eliot had probably moved on, found someone who could love him like he deserved. Jon moved to grab a drink, using this as an excuse to watch the man he still loved but had driven from his life. He sighed inwardly at how much of a fool he had been for those two years. He wanted to say something, but couldn't think of the words to say. He picked up his shirt and put it back on, doing up the buttons, hoping the time this took may give him the wisdom to find the right words. "Hey", Jon mentally went off at himself for coming out with hey. He couldn't have even have said sorry or something could he. A least then he might not have sound so pathetic.

Eliot grunted in reply not stopping his attack but he was hyper aware of were Jon was and the smell of him, the scent had long since faded from the shirts of Jon that he had kept when he had left unable to help himself. He wanted to turn around and drink in the site of him but he couldn't because if he did he'd have to watch him walk away, probably into the arms of the guy that had fixed him and he couldn't do that because it would kill him.

He focused back on the dummy trying to ignore Jon but it was a lost cause when ever he was around half of Eliot's attention was on him no matter what. He let out a frustrated huff lopping the head off the dummy before turning to face Jon only breathing slightly heavy he moved past him taking in a deep breath of his scent, he had missed it this last year. It had been agony to leave but he couldn't have stayed and watched him slip further and further away from him.

Jon discreetly breathed in as Eliot walked past, taking comfort in the scent of the man he loved but probably could never have again. As much as it hurt to see him, Jon could feel the part of him that had once enjoyed the camp stir inside him. He had been so focused on the model that was there recently that it was refreshing to feel a knew part of him wake up. The part that was the demi god. He bit his lip and drew the courage from this part of him. "I wanted to thank you for not wanting to give up on me Eliot. I am sorry that I was not the man you thought I was. I wish I could go back and change the way I acted", the last bit was more mumbled to himself and he was not sure if Eliot would have heard it as by this point he had taken a sudden interest in his hands.

"It's okay." He tells him in a rough voice, aching to take him into his arms and sooth him but he knew that it was no longer his place. "I'm glad you found someone to make you whole again." He chokes out, his hands closing into fists at his side he wished that he could have been the one to fix him but apparently it was not meant to be. "Excuse me." He muttered turning on his heal and all but running away, he couldn't stand it standing there and talking to him and not being able to touch or taste it was the worst kind of punishment. He hoped that Jon was happy with his new man, even if it killed him he would be happy for him because all he wanted out of life was for Jon to be happy but it killed him that he wasn't the one to make him happy.

Jon stood watching his retreat for a moment before his words registered properly in his head. He took off after Eliot, glad that he had been going to gym to keep his shape and fitness for the last year. "Eliot wait!", he called, not even sure he would hear him. He surprised himself when he managed to catch up with him. "There is no other man, Eliot. Hasn't been since you. I am just ashamed it took you leaving for me to realize what I was doing. It was then that I realized I couldn't let things continue. That...Brock...wouldn't have wanted that", he replied, feeling his voice break slightly at the name of his brother, but he pushed past it and forced himself to meet Eliot's eyes. "I understand if you have found someone else. I just wanted to thank you for everything."

"Don't, don't thank me." He tells him unable to help the fact that his heart raced when he admitted that there was no one else but he did not feel like he deserved his thanks not when he had walked out on him, that he had abandoned him because he couldn't help him out of the slide of depression that he had fallen into. "There isn't anyone else for me, you were it." He says not realizing that he used the past tense. "But, I just, I don't know if I can be in a relationship with you again. Not after what we have been through." He tells him regretfully.

Jonathan felt his heart break at the thought of losing him forever again. He closed his eyes for a moment, knowing he could blame the guy after everything that had happened. "Can you give me a chance to at least try and win your heart again?", as soon as the words left his mouth, Jon paled. How could he ask that after everything that Eliot had already done for him? If he didn't live up to it, how could he take the pain he could cause him. He turned to run before he could be given a reply scared of the denial he felt it would be.

Eliot was thinking over an answer for him before seeing that he was turning to run he caught his arm before he could run off, he wasn't holding it overly tight or anything just firm enough that he couldn't run from him. His thumb lightly stroked his arm unable to help himself feeling his skin under his fingers for the first time in a year made a shiver run down his spine. Maybe this could work but he wouldn't be the one chasing this time, Jonathan would have to prove that he wanted this. "You still have my heart, you will always have my heart, but I don't know this you, so yes I'll give us a chance to learn about each other again. But it's going to be you doing the chasing this time, not the way it was last time."

Jon felt Eliot grab his arm and turned back to him, trying to ignore the way Eliot's hand made him feel. He smiled slightly at Eliot's response, knowing what it would cost them both if this didn't work out. He didn't know what came over him but the next thing he knew he had pulled Eliot into his arms and slowly found his lips with his own. He didn't force anything with the kiss but still tried to show that he was serious. He pulled back after a moment, "You have never left my heart Eliot and I think I still have a lot to learn about the new Jonathan too", he replied, honestly.

Eliot savored the kiss that he received it had been one of the few kisses that he had received in the last three years certainly the most enthusiastic and loving. "Okay." He says taking a step back it wouldn't do them any good to jump into a physical relationship till they got to know each other again. Though Eliot hadn't changed much he had still changed and didn't know if Jon would still feel the same way after he found out what Eliot had done for the last year. It wasn't as if he was ashamed of it but he wasn't proud of it either.

Jon smiled slightly at him and moved to on the ground, remembering as he did so, why he hated suit pants and button up shirts when he was here. "I wish my rushed packing included more then just my work clothes", he stated, more to himself then Eliot. His wardrobe had changed since Eliot had left and looked a lot more like what it had been when he first came to came. Thought at least then he had had the sense of mind to buy some designer track pants and things. "So what have you been up to for the last year?", he asked him, needing somewhere to start.

Eliot winced at the mention of the year they had been apart. "This and that." He tells him tonelessly but he sighed knowing that he had to tell him the truth. "I became a merc and spent most of the year apart from two weeks in one war zone or another, killing people." He turns his head away not wanting to see the disgust in his eyes at his admission of what he had been doing for the last year. He didn't hold out much hope that Jon would stick around after he told him that but didn't stop the tiny sliver of hope in his heart.

Jon couldn't help but let out a small laugh at the fact that they had both retreated in most ways to what they had been before they stepped foot in camp. He knew he shouldn't have laughed and was quick to stop himself, sending a apologetic look to Eliot. "I am sorry. I just found it interesting to find out we both retreated to the lives we had before camp. When you left I found myself retreating to the one thing that I knew. I got back in contact with agent, after having a momentary lapse at why I had to quit in the first places. I am haunted by media as they try to find out my secret to staying to young."
